Wonder if that workload can have an effect on the week's game vs KC. I'm not sure if I've ever seen someone get 53 carries in a game.
Just heard Ihry was elected Mayor in New Rockford

I read 48 carries for 377...but same difference.
So if a player has ~50 carries, uhhhh.....how many offensive plays did his team have?
Like, what's average for a ndhs 9-man game? 60?

This is what the Herald had:
PASSING -- Owen Zerface 1-4, 26 yards
RUSHING -- Jack Ihry 53-385 (5 TDs), O. Zerface 8-19 (1 TD), Tate Zerface 2-5, Cody Reimer 1-2
RECEIVING -- Dalton Stein 1-26
So that would be 68 plays, which I assume is a lot for a 9-man game.
Probably odd to say, but NRS was probably one of maybe two teams in the state that could have held Ihry in check that well. Against most teams he gets those 350 yards on a lot less carries.
The Schwab wrote:Ihry's season numbers according to the GF Herald article-
251-2,378, 33 TD
That's a per game average of 23 carries, 216 yards and 3 td's a game. He's averaging 9.5 yards per carry. WOW!

I agree with the projected winners that pretty much everyone has picked on this thread. I would disagree with your scores. I’m not smart enough to have a good guess at scores of these games, as I don’t know much about our western teams. But, I would say, if one of these games is going to be close, I would guess it would be the Cavalier game. I do think Cavalier is very good. I just think Linton-HMB is much better than Kidder Co.

Come on man... Give us a reason away you disagree. I don’t claim to be real sharp on western teams, which is why I don’t predict their games before late in the playoffs. I saw you predicted Kidder to beat Linton HMB during the regular season. Kidder did drop that game by 20 and were predicted to fall by 5 of the 8 people who predicted that game. The teams may be different now because players do get hurt and such as the season goes. I’m not sure why LHMB dropped their last regular season game like they did. I’d think they were resting up some guys before a playoff push.
9 man teams are not known for their depth typically. I would say Cavalier is the team left with the best ability to withstand a big injury. But I’m going to assume that the teams are healthy and not pick games thinking about what if so and so gets hurt. Hopefully everyone is is good going in and remains that way when the final whistle sounds.
