softball2121 wrote:valley city #3? Bismarck century I think should have a decent team, Ryan will be alright again. Valley city has gotten better but even in that 5-1 loss to WF they only had like 3 hits or something. From what I saw WF didnt play their best that game, then killed enderlin 17-0. Enderlin and VC played to a 3-3 tie before it got called due to light.

The Northeast isn't looking to strong this year. Shanley dropped central 22-3, and Red river barely came back to beat central so i think the Northeast is out of the talk. My top 3 right now would have to be:
1. West Fargo
2. Minot Ryan
3. Shanley, with Century close behind.

Ryan is extremely young. I'd have them at 4th in the state at best. 1 senior and 1 junior. A couple sophmores and a whole lot of freshmen and 8th graders. They're talented but so young.

Ryan is very young, but I think they have a new pitcher in that group who could help. I would put Century right up there w/ West Fargo at the beginning of the season.

They do have a new pitcher. She moved her from Oregon because her dad got the MSU men's basketball job. She is very good, but she's only an 8th grader. She'll probably be their starter since out of their two pitchers from last year, one graduated and the other has a torn ACL.

Shanley and North are pretty interchangable for the 2nd spot.

I would still put Century up in the top 3, if not top 2.

After watching last night's 13-6 win for Shanley over North...I don't think they are interchangable
