Maybe they are trying to prevent that from happening again? I don't know, I just remember some people freaking out a few years ago, it was really bad publicity.

But it started at that incident at the basketball game, which really detracted from the amount of people showing up. But another reason for the unusual amount of south students going to games it the Davies switch. When i was a freshman and sophmore, i went to a few games and saw a ton of students. but as a senior now, i notice the only students that go now are upperclassman that will graduate from south (juniors and seniors). If anyone was at the South vs Shanley game last night, you would've seen what a "true" south cheering section was. Almost all the students wore the Shanley school uniform and a few went as far as wearing a nun and priest outfit. So the South AD are getting better, but they always came by the section as a reminder to keep it clean. But there were at least 3 rows of students filled, which is what every game should be. just too bad south couldn't win though with all the support

The only black eye was the two boys dressed up as a priest and a nun, I thought that was uncalled for and they should have been asked to change clothes. Over all it was the best South student section I have seen all year!

I think the priest and nun is kinda funny. I'm sure no one was offened (at least they shouldn't be). Student sections need to step things up more. There isn't a whole lot of creativity out there. There is some but I would like to see more. I think Minot does a good job.
