I'd have to say Tate Kick from Dickinson and Brian Qvale from Williston for sure. They both had great seasons this year. I believe that they both have could have huge seasons next year. Both could possibly be Mr. Basketball candidates

This is just a guess... Tate Kick, Dickinson... Jordan Wilhelm, Bismarck High.... Jon Kramer, Wahpeton.... Jordan May, Fargo North... Zac Elgie, Minot High.... Brian Qvale, Williston
I'm sure I've forgot a few players from the East, but those are the top four in the West IMO.
he started JV at the beginning of the year, Shultis was letting him get used to the swing of things. After Dehne hurt his hand and Disrud was off the team, that moved up May and he started his first game 3/4 through the season.
Wilhem, Quale, Elgie, May, Belohavek, Kick, Justin Lake, Jon Kramer, Farkas, and Grzadzieleski. I don't know how people left of Belohavek? Not sure on the exact spelling.

May is a south side kid, he went to Discovery Jr High which feeds Fargo South, His dad hates the South High coaching staff so he had him transfer to North, Mays dad coaches a travel team and had brain washed the south side players against South High!! Would he have started at South as a Sophomore? maybe, maybe not, South had a very good senior class.... Rumor has it that other South side boys are transfering to North because of May's Dad
Has anyone here seen Matt Wegenke from JHS play before? I guess he didn't play muc hthis season but he was quite good as a sophomore and at the ned of the season him and Heck were both averaging double digits together. Anyone know anything? I have no clue about him.
Wegenke is a baller. If this kid would put in the time necessary to be great, he would be an absolute stud. He has a tremendous shot, just rising up over people, and he has a great ability of attacking the basket. He was also one of the top free-throw shooters in the east last year. He could be a sleeper pick for all-state next year.
