Cavalier is not a basketball town so that would be tough. I could only give ya five guys that come off the top of my head.
Brady Trenbeath
Blake Trenbeath
Todd Olson
Steve LaQua
Shane Robinson
Matt Anderson coming off the bench
That would be my starting 5, notta lot of height.
I don't know as much about the older players on that list but I have to think there is room for Matt Anderson on this team. He was the District 4 Senior Athlete of the year in 2006 and one of the toughest players to guard I've ever seen/competed against. I have to think someone on that list could be taken off for Anderson but I am not sure on the history of Cavalier basketball players.BB11 wrote:ndfan wrote:Cavalier is not a basketball town so that would be tough. Here are some old school players from North that were pretty good in tlhe '70s!!! Todd Bakken, 6'7 post Class of '77(state champ, UND Star), Mike Wacker,6'10 post,University of Texas star, I think he was at North in the late 70s his dad was Jim Wacker, football coach at NDSU and U of M... Eric Larson,6'3 guard Class of'76, great shooter, star at Concordia... Craig Flaagan, 6'7 post, Class of '75, 3 year starter at Concordia, current South girls coach.... I dont remember many North players from the '80s but North was not very good that decade.paperboy wrote:Fargo North:

Thanks for reminding me of these players...you know, come to think of it, Fargo North really hasn't produced a ton of really well known, good players, has it? Going way back there was Chipper Litten (I think he went to North) and Barry Mayer, but he was more of a football player, but I do remember he played some basketball but probably shouldn't be mentioned here. Are there any more that you can remember?bruins44 wrote:Here are some old school players from North that were pretty good in tlhe '70s!!!
