so he probably should have had 4 triples and maybe an inside the park homerun? lakota must count errors as hits and played kensal twice already....Big Hitter wrote:Jayden Mattern has started the season off very well for Lakota he is hitting 500 8 for 16 with 5 doubles. James Olderbak is hitting like normal also right around 450.

I believe Nick playes for Mayville State. He is a pitcher so his hitting days are gone. He did play basketball but didnt like it so he stoped but he is still playing baseball
no, he accualy hit 100, he was working on control though, so who knows what he could do if he threw hard....:Drumbles wrote:I heard a rumor that working with the coaches he got his fastball up to nearly 95 at mayville stateyanks baseball wrote:Boyyo27 wrote:not even closetanner lorenz wrote:BATA IS THE BEST PLAYER EVER!!! no more statements :D

i have seen nick bata pitch before and trust me, he cannot throw 90 even...maybe in a few years 90 is in reach, because hes tall and hasnt had a coach ever that knows pitching wellbaseball wrote:rumbles wrote:I heard a rumor that working with the coaches he got his fastball up to nearly 95 at mayville stateyanks baseball wrote:Boyyo27 wrote:not even closetanner lorenz wrote:BATA IS THE BEST PLAYER EVER!!! no more statements :D

JimboJoe wrote:Oh yeah, I'm not quite sure about the whole "95 MPH" but I've actually heard he has been throwing in the high 80's close to 90. I honestly don't doubt, Mayville has a great coach and Nick Bata could throw hard when he had the mechanics of a 7th grader, but now I'm sure Berry has tinkered with his mechanics and really improved his pitching ability.

mechanics of a 7th grader is exactly right, maybe thats why he couldnt go more then 4 innings in a start. ive seen games where he pitches 3 innings with 7 ks and only 1 hit or so and has to come out cuz his arm is sore.
