Week 7 game Heart River at New Salem will determine the #3 and #4 seed. Should be New Salem winning and clinching the #3 seed with Heart River backing into the #4 seed.
Hazen will have another blowout as they travel to Garrison.
Central McLean at Southern McLean to determine who claims the bottom spot.

Going to be a good one. Why should DLB beat Berthold? Cuz they are the #5 team in the state. Ask Rugby bout that. Werent they number 5 here a couple weeks ago and Berthold beat them. The passing game will be next to none tonight I would guess. That will help Berthold in regards to the Holte kid.

Going to be an interesting game tonite!!!

It will be up to the lines tonight, this will give the Lakers the edge imo. Another big game will be the Harvey vs Velva game, winner is in. A Harvey lose and they are out, a Velva lose they still have an outside shot with some help.

DLB is the by far the best team in this region. I thought maybe Berthold would play with them. DLB dominated the game on both sides of the ball. I haven't seen Hazen or Killdeer, but I think DLB will be able to play with them.

Not to take anything away from Hillsboro because they played a great game tonight, but Carrington is REALLY banged up right now.

*Offensive/Defensive Lineman - Broke his hand last week against Milnor.
*QB/Linebacker - Dislocated his kneecap in practice Tuesday.
*Tailback/Free Safety - Injured in the first series tonight.

Take three/six of your best players out of the lineup in a given night in Class A football and anything can happen.

More importantly, the status of these three and possibly more are unknown for the regional showdown against Oakes next Saturday.

With that said...Hillsboro played better than Carrington tonight.

I'm not so sure about this. In fact, I flat out disagree. Region 3, IMO, is 1 through 4 the tightest region in A football. Heck, let's throw Harvey in there and say it's very close 1 through 5. Rugby provided they stay in that #4 spot will be a tough draw for the other region's #1. Velva is a much better (and more conditioned) team than they were when the season started, and I'm sure they'd love to play DLB and Berthold again. One will see I guess once the season plays out.
