A 7-0 vs. a 4-4, a #10 ranking vs never seen the polls. Glancing at the other games, no other upsets like that picked (4 over 3 and 6 over 5 don't consider upsets). Just wondering what people are seeing in Milnor that makes you pick them? On paper a 7-0 vs. 4-4 is an obvious pick for the 7-0 team, so what have Walkingstick and Gopack seen? Just interested in the point of views. But then again, Run chose CC and his record stands above Gopack, so maybe it is a moot point.

Its really just for fun...but IMO its a tossup game. Milnor is a tough place to play...plus Milnor is not a bad team at 4-4 (losses to Oak Grove, Enderlin, Valley City & LaMoure-LM). It also seems like they are starting to turn things around. Central Cass is 7-0...but the combined record of their opponents is 17-34...so they haven't truly played anyone solid yet.

Still... Milnor lost to Enderlin 51 - 47 (in Milnor - the tough place to play) and Central Cass beat Enderlin 91 - 54. Give CC a little credit - they are not going to lose to Milnor. Are they going to sail through the region this year - absolutely not. But they are a good team and I don't expect will be challenged too much by anyone in District 1. District 2, once again, will be represented well in the regional semi-final IMO!

Milnor was struggling early...and Enderlin came out hot early. Enderlin did not show up to play against Central Cass and Central Cass absolutely took it to Enderlin (it brought Enderlin down-to-earth a bit).
I'm not trying to discredit Central Cass one bit...just stating that their early season schedule has been pretty weak (best team being MPCG 4-3). We'll definitely see how good Central Cass is from January 18th to January 24th when they have games against (rankings as of today) #7 CARRINGTON (1/18), #3 Class AA Hawley, MN @ Fargo Civic Center (1/19), Linton-HMB @ Jamestown (1/22), and at #4 Oak Grove (1/24).
