Region 1
Oak Grove 6 @ M-NS 35---The Bulldogs are definitely the hottest team in the region with winning their last 4 games, and handing MV-E their first loss of the year last Friday in Milnor. This team is built for the cold weather, which could bode well for them, if they make it in the playoffs. Knowing that they could possibly be the #1 seed in Region 1 after starting the season 0-3 will drive the Bulldogs to an easy win over Oak Grove.
Oakes 14 @ MV-E 20--- The biggest question here is whether last week’s disaster in Milnor was a minor blip in the radar or a sign of things to come for the Falcons. Oakes is playing for their playoff lives this week and it’s fairly simple: win and your in or lose and go home. This game could get really interesting if Oakes is up by around a TD in the 4th quarter due to the various tie-breaking scenarios.
May-Port-CG 12 @ Linton 32---Linton can give themselves a chance at a home playoff game if they take care of business and get help from MV-E. I don’t think the Lions squander this chance, and they handle the Patriots at home.
Northern Cass 20 @ KC 12--- With the Jaguars coming off of back-to-back losses against top region teams, I think they barely squeak by the Pirates. Kidder County got their first win last week and are looking to play the role of spoiler this week. I don’t think they can stop the Jaguars’ running attack for 4 quarters, but they scare the Jaguars for most of the game.
