Watford will have a good sophomore class next year. Daniel Marmon, Dalton Wright, Keegan Thompson, Logan Fettig and Jaryn Homiston all saw a considerable amount of playing time last year as freshmen. Marmon started all year at safety and was named all-conference (2nd on the deam with defensive points). Wright started a couple games last year at OLB, he has nice hair(like super nice)! He can play a little bit of DB too and runs very hard on offense at the running back position. Thompson will be in the running for QB and Fettig started the first 3 games at center because of summer infractions by the orignal starter. Homiston is a good nose and is an extremely hard worker. He will be a force.

Oakes has a will be sophmore running back who moved from wyndmere last year. The kid is a freak athlete. He went to state as a freshman in the 100 m dash, is a good basketball player, and a even better football player. While he was in wyndmere I watched him play a jh game in Hillsboro where he had 7 rushing tds all over 40 yds. Then he went and tore his acl otherwise I think we would have competed for the starting rb job as a freshman.

Oakes will have a very good young group of players but the key is "young." The freshman and sophomore class have played well together but they will lack in experience on both side of the line and will have to sculpt some players into effective starters. They have a few kids who played quite a bit but will have to develop to be successful. I know Lamoure also has some very good young talent coming up and Milnor NS has some solid athletes

Yes, Lamoure has some good young talent. However, they are a 9 man team.
We plan and God laughs.

Will Region 3's reign end this year? Will they continue to dominate or will someone else finally win the title?

Some people I have talked to from Oakes is indicating that they are better than they were last year. And they were pretty darn good last year. We will see as the season plays out. However, it sounds as if they had some truggles in their opening game.

Not a lot of posts on this site this year. Is there another forum I don't know about? How good are the teams out west this year? Heart River looks pretty strong from the scores. Hazen I thought was the team to beat? Can Stanley repeat? Watford City was supposed to be pretty decent according to pre season rankings? Can anyone who has seen them play give an update?
