Gotta think of the Carrington teams of the mid and late 90's and early 2000's. Always seemed like they were at least in the semis.

I believe at one point that season I remember reading on here they were ranked #9 in the country. I don't know how legitimit that is or anything but thats pretty incredible nonetheless.

If I were to have a category for just the 2000's here is what it would be.

AAA-Fargo South, 3 state titles in 5 appearances. With their 6th coming this weekend.
AA-Dickison Trinity. 3 state titles in 6 appearances.
A-Velva, Velva/Sawyer, 6 state titles in 7 appearances. Also won 6 out of 7 from 2000-2006
9-Man-Linton, Linton/H-M-B, 3 State title in 3 appearances in 9 man. 2 appearances in A with their second coming this weekend.

I agree with all of these except for the AA i think you gotta put Cavalier above D.T. if u are talking about the 2000's i believe cavalier beat trinity in the playoffs at least once during this time.

im surprised not many people mentioned Harvey for class A. in the 90's they were in the title game like 6 times and then for 9man Divide county in the past 10 years has made it to the simis 8 times

Shanley was the best football school when Sid Cichy coached there. They hardly ever lost and Cichy's youngest son was probably the best player to play in ND.
