Olson is not smart enough to play at the high school level.... he is too hot headed and would make sinple mistakes... Brady Thielges and Riley Jorhdal will be the runningbacks next year... the rest aren't ready to play at that level

defensewinsgames wrote:I don't agree with that at all. No matter what position you play to be good you need to be smart. Saying the QB is the only one that the intelligence card can be pulled on just isn't true. Name me one postion you don't need to be smart at! Here are a few examples:
RB-need to see the field, be smart enough to see what the D is giving you and how to get it
OL-need to recognize tons of defenses, know the playbook, understand blocking schemes
LB-recognize packages, read run or pass, notice differences in stances, understand the game sitution
Kicker-know the power needed, understand how wind affects it, understand the conditions and how to overcome them
And that is just a few if you need more examples give me the position
