A great matchup. Last two undefeated teams in Class A. No.2 vs No.3. Two teams with big lines that love to run the ball. Hazen's Carr is over 1,000 yards rushing on the year, while Borneman is just shy of 1,000. Stanley-PL's Roehrich is near 1400 yards with Smith over 700. Stanley-Powers Lake's defense is playing remarkable, not allowing a point in the last three games (Williams Co, Killdeer, Heart River). With cold, snow and wind in the forecast for Saturday, it will be a battle in the trenches.

Stanley-Powers Lake 14

This game is the one I would like to be watching this weekend. It could come down to a turnover or a missed two point conversion in the end....every single point will be important in this one...in my humble opinion...I have no prediction on the winner of this one...it's too close for me to call

I think neither team should win and they should just let the east have the championship

Yeah obviously you have never seen the west play football Hazen and Stanley are by far the best teams in Class A football the east has nobody that even should think about playing the west thats why Harvey was so probably the best team in the east and they use to be a west team.

Since the beginning of the 4 class system the west has always been represented by the team from region 3 and came out on top every year except once when Harvey beat Stanley in 1998...that being said....record in sports are broken all of the time...can Hazen break the region 3 streak...absolutely....can the east win...absolutely...whatever the records are at the end of the season doesn't matter...what matters is how the team is playing at that time of the year. Maple Valley/Enderlin is on a bit of a roll very similar to last years Milnor/North Sargeant team did...and M/NS put up a good fight against Velva. Personally I'm looking forward to whatever happens no matter what the outcome happens to be...I just flat out love to watch football and especially class A football in ND

This is gonna be a great game. Hazen has to travel, wich might give Stanley a bit of an edge. But hazen is firing on all cylinders....

this should be a great game... I dont think this will be a high scoring game, and hazen winning by 7 or less.

I think it is safe to say both teams are firing on all cylinders. This is one of those games where that will pry be 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Good ol' fashioned hard hitting football game. I havent seen one of those in awhile.

It should be a close game, i am not going to predict a winner. The game could come down to a field goal even. Dont know if hazen kicks, but stanley has a fairly solid kicker.

If Stanley can contain Carr and Borneman they will win the game. I was at the Heart River vs. Stanley game and Stanley did an excelent job on containing Hecker, Strecker, and Ewonuk(sorry about spelling). If their defense plays like they did last week they will come out on top. I think stanley will win this one in a dog fight.

Do you mean two-point conversion? but in any case that doesn't usually fit into the statistical box score.

Well that usually doesn't make the Statistical box score either. The full box score (if the newspapers have it) would list that along with the Scoring Summaries
