Midway-Minto should make a legitimate run at winning their first Section title since 2003. Gabe Garza returns for the summer after staying in Texas for the HS season leading his 4A school in batting average, reaching the 3rd round of the Texas HS playoffs (farthest in school history since 2000) and receiving an all-league selection. They also add the Manvel players who helped Midway-Manvel take 2nd at the state babe ruth tournament in 2009. They may not have as much power in the middle of their lineup with out Mike Forester and Beau Brunsvold but they should be much deeper 1-9 and potentially have a deeper pitching staff.

What should each section look like? As far as competition wise..

I'm not sure which section it is, but the section with bottineau and velva in it should be very competitive.
They have the 3rd and 5th place teams at high school state with Velva and Bottineau in it.
Rollette has Zach Thompson who will always keep them in games, along with a few more good kids.
Surrey has a couple of pretty good pitchers, sketchy fielding at times.
I'm not sure on New Rockford this year, but they were pretty good last year when all their kids showed up.
Cando did very well this year in high school ball, they were the one seed in their region, they will be good.
DLB will be... DLB.
I'm not sure on Harvey.

I think that region will be
1. Bottineu
2. Velva
3. Rolette
4.Harvey
5.Cando
6.New rockford
7. Surrey
8. DLB

No, thats years ago. After that they where with Velva for awhile. Now their kids play high school with Max and I don't think any Sawyer kids play in the summer.

Depends on who plays in the summer for these teams, but for the top two depends on if Bruner can pitch. They will be a bit better at the plate with Weible coming back and that will give them another pitcher also. Rolette sounds like they are having a hard time finding players, but Thompson can beat anybody.

New Rockford co-oped with Carrington giving them 6 more players. They swept Surrey yesterday not sure how much you can take from that.

Thank you, no Carrington team. You would think a twon that big could come up with a team of their own. But its good that they can go to New Rockford and play

I believe it's most of the towns around the Highway 21 area. New England, Mott, Regent, Hettinger, and possibly Lemmon, SD. I'm not positive though.

Well can't be Hettinger...since they seem to have their own team (if I'm not mistaken)
