Hunter Braaten(CF,SS,P) from westhope and Andrew Hill(SS,C,P) from Bottineau. both are great in the field and strong at bat. Hill was .324 at bat during last years high school baseball season and both are in their last year in babe ruth.

On the Fargo team, Gabe Sandy is a solid hitter. Isaak Lamb is a reliable lefty who throws really hard. Jake Salentine plays solid ss and throws strikes. Both Salentine and Sandy are playing Varsity for Shanley. This team dominated state the last 2 or 3 years so if these guys play Babe Ruth and not Bombers they should be solid.

A year late on this analysis...

I guess it still counts. This would be about the 16 year old team now but they'll be playing Legion. Responding to your post I would disagree on Isaac Lamb, he doens't throw really hard. He really doesn't even throw hard. Gabe looks pretty good but i haven't seen him play. Salentine is pretty good.

If you go to the Babe Ruth web-site, these guys are on the 15 year old rosters for the "in-town" teams. These guys won the 14 year old state tourney last summer.

I know Salentine is only 15 and pretty sure Sandy is also. Salentine was on the Fargo 14s last year. He may play up with the Fargo Bombers this year however.

Lamb threw a 2 hitter/complete game in the edc jv tourney against Red River and hit the ball to the fence the couple at bats I saw he had - he was definitly throwing hard and mixing it up. Someone said he started a couple games for Davies varsity this year and did a nice job considering he is a freshman - he is playing 15 Babe Ruth again this year
