I believe that, because he is currently living in the Davies district, he can transfer into Davies and play unpenalized, however, without changing residences he would have to sit out if he transferred anywhere else.

What year did he start at Kindred? There is an area in Fargo (in what is now the Davies area) that was part of the Kindred school district. Especially down by the Oxbow area where some of the kids still have the option to go to Kindred. There is a some kind of grand-fathered clause associated with it. Those kids can go to Davies without a penalty. Otherwise, its 180 days, and not a year...correct?
