Golus has almost no chance of winning if her team doesn't make it to state and I don't know Shauna Long's stats but I've read plenty about her. Roehric is the favorite right now but is not a lock to win as she only le
ads the other class A hopefulls in points per game only.

Over 1300 points and more rebounds than any other girl in the history of Class A. Not to mention leading the EDC in blocks and close to the top in steals. She is taking a team that no one thought would amount to much this year and made Central into arguably the best team in the state.

Does she really have more rebounds than any other girl in Class A history?!

Below is the top 10 girls by fg% just in the EDC. Farroh is #1. You can see who else is on it, and not.
Player, Team FG FGA Pct.
Farroh, GF Central 125 192 65.1
Larson, Fargo North 97 183 53.0
Fisher, Fargo South 63 127 49.6
Elshaug, Devils Lake 134 271 49.4
Anderson, Shanley 31 63 49.2
DeVillers, Wahpeton 25 51 49.0
Moffett, Fargo Davies 89 185 48.1
Knecht, GF Red River 39 82 47.6
Nelson, West Fargo 49 104 47.1
A. Dehne, Fargo North 95 207 45.9
An argument in Roehrichs favor: FT's. Below is the top 7 by FT % in the edc. as you can see, Roehrich has shot an astonishing 70 more free throws than anyone else! She also converts at just about 3/4.
Player, Team FT FTA Pct.
Knecht, GF Red River 42 48 87.5
Ripplinger, GF Red River 30 36 83.3
Fisher, Fargo South 24 29 82.8
Wade, Devils Lake 29 36 80.6
Carew, Shanley 48 64 75.0
Roehrich, Fargo South 112 150 74.7
Holland, West Fargo 59 80 73.8
Farroh is #1 in Rebounds by about 7 rebounds.
Roehrich is second in rebounds and number 6 in Assists.
Farroh is 1st in blocks, Roehrich 7th.
Farroh is number 6 in steals, Roehrich number 8.
Basically, we have two excellent, excellent players who both fill the stat sheet in different ways. Reason why I go Farroh:
1. 65% shooting percentage. Much much much much more efficient, even factoring in how often Roehrich makes it to the line. Roehrich as noted isn't in top 10 in edc in fg%
2. Roehrich wastes possessions on 3 pointers. The 10th best 3pt shooter by percentage in the EDC shoots 30%. Yet Roehrich is 10th on the "made 3pts" list, with 16 in 14 games. Thus at best she's somewhere around 16 out of 50 from 3, and it could be worse (it's only that good if she's 11th in the EDC, which i'm not sure about.) This is understandable if you watch the games- a few times every game she hoists up NBA range 3pters which almost never go in. If you're shooting that low a % you shouldn't be shooting 3's... although really i think it's the nba ranger 3's that hurt her, she's fine at the normal spot.
3. Rebounds. Farroh is a different position which lends itself more to rebounding. but 16.6-9.6 is too large an advantage. Farroh's more valuable.
