no way shanley loses....WAY too big, too quick, too everything. saw them put up 30 pts in the first quarter against Fargo Davies. Montplaiser is solid QB with decent recievers, plus McGovern is virtually unstoppable. Shanley by at least 20.

i agree that they have put up awesome numbers. and are deservedly the number 1 team in state. Lisbon and st marys will most likely be the only teams that will give them a game this year. i just think that Lisbon has a chance at home. would if be an upset, yes. last year everyone thought Wahpeton was a shoe in as well. look what happened. i hope for shanley sake that they arnt over confident. there is a reason why they play the games. JMHO

Wahpeton so to speak was only as good as Smith was during the game. They were totally one dimensional and gave the ball only to him. It worked for 10 games yes, but then they played against a balanced DL team that had the second best player in AA (Wolf). Every team should have a secondary option to go. The best player cant always carry the load. Shanley has balance with a solid running game and passing game. Webber, Montplasier, and Rodenbiker are all solid anchored by McGovern who's a beast. I give the edge to Shanley.
