1. Turtle Mountain
2. Mandan
3. Williston
4. Dickinson
They may go to state depending on how TM does. Top Seniors are Dickinson has Herauf, Mandan has Peterson and TM has Golous. Williston suprised everyone last year and they still have alot of height. Who does Minot really have?
It will be interesting to see if Century will move girls up or satisfy the parents. I see them stuggling next year.

Bismarck or Century (if not both) will go to State along with Mandan. I still can't believe TM didn't go last year so I think the 4th spot is up for grabs.

yes, Century will be very interesting, there are a lot of competing interests, only a couple kids with outstanding talent, the rest are a horse a piece. There will be some tough cuts and angry parents. And next year the asst. coach has another kid to run through the program. Bismarck will be fun too, missing State hurt and should be cover to allow the talent to drive the roster this year instead of parental pull.

Century's assistant coach from last year resigned. They have a few kids who have potential but thats about it. I don't think Bismarck will make state this year cause I can't think of one outstanding kid.

I have to go with the best seniors and their teams. Mandan, Dickinson and TM. I do wonder if TM will be 1st (do think they will be in the top 4) but Golous is still tough!!! Mandan should be good and they have a really good coach, Lynn Stanley. I think they will be the team to beat. I like to watch Mic Longtin, she is one of the better juniors.

Mandan returns Pederson, and I think they will be the early favorite, but if you are looking for an outstanding player, then Century is up there with Jacobs. Golus is great, but might struggle without another big girl inside to help her out. My early picks are:
Mandan
Century
Bismarck
Dickinson

AJ is a very athletic player but lacks some basketball skills. Most teams last year were worried about Pederson and Buck so without them, I don't think AJ can carry the team unless she has worked on her game this summer.

Bismarck doesn't have anybody that stands out.

I think you have to consider Williston as a early favorite. They suprised alot of teams last year and still have 2 6'0 girls and 1 6'2" girl.

I think Williston was a surprise last year at State because TM wasn't the factor in their bracket as expected. Even Mandan shouldn't have made it to State, but was able to beat TM for the 4th spot. It will be an interesting year, but I will stick to my 1st 4. I think Bismarck will be a quicker team than expected. Jacobs is an athletic player w/ great jumping skills, but unfortunately prefers to play outside way too much. That could change.

It will be interesting to see if AJ can change from an athletic player to one of the Top players in WDA. I agree it will depend what TM puts together around Golous. I still don't see Bismarck doing much unless they get some transfers like the boys team has.

Speaking of outstanding players, I think Jess Herauf from Dickinson should be considered, and could easily lead Dickinson to a state appearance. Individually, I think she is a better player than Jacobs or Pedersen.

I agree wit the fact that Cenury will return tio state but actually I think TM has a legitimate shot at making it to state.

north beat a very very good devils lake team last night. That soph Larson had 22 points and 10 rebounds, Dehne had 19 points and Lopez 12 points and 10 rebounds. I wouldn't count north out.

Who does Central have besides Farroh? I can't remember from last year if she had any help?

Shanley beats Moorhead 92-52 to complete the Fargo sweep. JV played most of second half.
