USA, USA, USA :D

They will go to the tournament round. I think they might win a game there. I think Spain will win it all.

With Spain's loss they'll most likely meet up with Brazil in the first round of the tournament. This is assuming they make the tournament.

I think they'll make the tournament. And I think whatever team wins that matchup will go on to win it all.

USA down 2-0 at the half, looks like the usa will be heading home early this year.

The match referee was HORRIBLE in the USA-Slovenia game. Lots of calls that were very suspect...hand balls called when it hits a player in the face! foul calls on plays where there was no contact! no fouls called when fouls should have been called! a goal disallowed when no foul or offside is called??? VERY SUSPECT!! I hope FIFA makes a switch and he doesn't officiate anymore games in this World Cup!!

I have watched the replay of the goal that was disallowed about 10 times and all I can conclude is that we got ABSOLUTELY HOSED by someone officiating their first ever World Cup game.

argentina will win it over brazil IMO. no euro team has ever won a WC outside of Europe. As for Brazil if they win it this year they will be going back-to-back as the next WC is in Brazil in 2012

after experiencing the World cup and trying to soak up as much as I could, I have to say it was quite disappointing....the missed calls ....the bogus calls.... the horns blowing....Bombs killing people...the extremism and radicalism that's entwined in this sport is a huge hindrance and takes away from the true talent and dedication of the athletes involved (may I say that the players dont reflect what I am talking about) its actually not the sport that fuels the riff, its the World wide part that attracts in the politics and chaos.

in the end I dont think things will get better when it comes to the World Cup soccer tournament and what goes with it....it is certainly not "the sport" when it comes to the good old USA... but in fact is "the Sport" world wide. :)
