In the Boys game Mandan will need to BK more involved than he was in Jamestown. Seemed that he didn't get the ball much and got a couple of fouls early and sat most of the first half. If BK gets the ball in the paint consistantly Mandan will win by 10 -15.

In the girls game I expect a turnover fest. With Jossart and Buck out, Century could have issues handling the ball. I also expect 2-3 players from Mandan will foul out. I think it'll come down to who can hit the outside shots. But In the end it should be a close game unless the 2 players fouled out from Mandan are Peterson and Vander Wal.

lol this was true for the girls.... on both sides of the ball it felt almost as if it were a ping ppong game

Girls side...The game looked like a ping pong game. Mandan did surprise me. They were not afraid to drive into the middle against a bigger Century team. Their ball movement was good and they created alot of havic on the press. Mic Longtin and Bea Meyer played well for Mandan. Petersen and VanderWal were in foul trouble but Longtin kept them in it. Longtin was fun to watch. I think Mandan ran out of steam. They were up by 8-9 with about 6 minutes left and didn't have the same pressure at the end to finish it.

Century got caught up in running with Mandan. They finally got their composure the last 6 minutes and played a slower half court game. I thought AJ and Govig played really well. Carly Petersen look frustrated at times but stepped up at the end.

Boys side.... Govig who? didnt really do anything. Mandan was lucky, Kelpenski needs to step up and dominate. He looked like he took a back seat. Flaa stepped up big for Mandan. Both sides the first half couldn't hit the broad side of a barn... Really poor shooting and really hard to watch. Reason Century was even close was due to Mattern's coaching. Flaa was the highlight of the boys game!

Flaa did hit a couple 3 pointers to put mandan ahead, but i would not consider him as the highlight. the game was more intense than what you are stating what it is.

First half was pretty ugly, but still very good defense. Second half the game picked up a bit. I agree that Jay was the highlight, made the smartest play of the game in actually cutting after he passed to Bryan.
