Probably richland in 2005, only think they won three games the year before then going all the way to the state title.

In 1999 Hope-Page didn't win a game, in 2000 made it to the state championship game.

Tri-County in 2005 I believe. The had been doormats for a few years then went something like 10 and 1 and made it to the semi-finals before losing to eventual state champ Richland

Parshall High School 2009 2010 I think they went from a 1 win year in 2007 2008 to a 2 or 3 win year in 2008 2009 to a 9 and 3 season with a state runner up in 2009 2010 I remember reading some of there scores in the papers and they took some lickings lol I think Williams county beat em 50 0 one year and westhope beat them 47 6

The 2016-17 Langdon Area Munich cardinals comes to mind. In 2015 they suffered major losses like 70-14, 61-6, and 42-0. They ended their record at 1-7. Then in 2016 comes along they make it too the Class A semi finals and ended their record at 9-2. In 2017 the bar was set high, they ended up taking runner up at the Dakota bowl ending their season with a record of 11-1.
