agreed, Hennessy was the only one they had last year that did anything. They won't go anywhere without her. Grand Forks would definately be above them.

The leaders on each team:
North- Mara Teschendorf, Hayley Olmstead, Forwards
South- Lindsay Nagel, forward, Carlie Stellrecht, defense
West Fargo- Kacie Johnson, forward, Andrea Klug, Goalie
Bismark- Maddie Gendrau, forward, Samantha Harris, Forward
unknown about other teams.

I totally agree with that. They're a lot of others that could be up there like Sitzmann for North (goalie) but you have the top players down i think.

How does Harris leave and Gendreau not. She is far better then any player on that team. South lost 3 girls from last years team? Wonder how that will effect there depth.

South lost 6 to graduation and 1 to Shattuck. 1 more to Shattuck that would have made the team and 1 more to Lake Placid Athletic Academy that also would have made the team. That being said, a boat-load of talent still coming up in the freshman class. After this year, I believe South will lose only 1 to graduation. They have lots of talent, just very young.

I'm going to guess Gendreau didn't go because of money. My cousin who plays for south said it cost around $46,000 to board there.

I would guess most don't go to Shattuck because of money. Unless your the Lamaroux girls or are just absolutley loaded, good luck.

This wouldn't be the first time someone has put North or Grand Forks down in the rankings....yet they seem to prove that they are both dominant teams in the state. However it is a new season with new players. People need to take into consideration the fact that anyone can make it to the championship, it just depends who wants it more.

It will come down to Bismarck, North, Grand Forks and West Fargo. West Fargo will take it all as they only lost one girl I believe.

I agree. Good example is Bismarck vs. Williston last year in first round at state! Williston had Bismarck down in a great game, one bad "no call" by a ref and Bismarck wins 6-5 with 1 second left. After that Bismarck was a bounce away from being State Champs.

I think there will be some games that will be suprising to people. I agree that West Fargo probably has the best chance to take down a few of the "power" teams this year.

With only 1 girl lost from last years team, West Fargo is the power to beat. All the other traditional powers had significant losses.
