Zorn, who threw well for Bismarck high, is better than any pitcher they will face in that section and im sure the teams in the omaha, iowa, and minnesota tournaments are better than most in not all teams in that section as well.

those teams in omaha, iowa and minnesota have their best 15 year olds playing up. maybe the aces should drop from section 1 and become a junior legion team instead of a class b team. that way they arent forced to play poor quality small town teams and they can go play mantle teams down in the cities or good small town teams in minnesota and south dakota.
BaseballTonight wrote:I'm guessing you were being sarcastic but if not, that will never happen because you can't win a junior legion state championship or go to a state tournament there. They will always play legion B just like every other class A team's 16 year olds.

The 3rd, 4th, and 5th games of the tournament were USA Select teams composed of kids from all over the country. The 3rd game was a pool play game. They played the USA Select 16U team and lost only 8-6. The pitcher was being gunned at 81-83 consistantly and the players on the team mashed the ball. The 4th game of the tournament was against the USA Select 15U team, which was the game to get into the championship. The team was a very good team and they beat them 9-3. And the last game of the tournament the Championship they once again matched up with the 16U team. The kid was clocked at 85-87 consistantly and a couple times got gunned at 88 mph. That is competition that you just do not get at the Aces level

Man cant I just be happy that these guys are doing well playing at a very high level? I am just happy that they might be changing the way that West Fargo is going to be looked at for the years to come and regardless if my brother is on the team or not i would have the same feeling towards what they are accomplishing.
