Former UND players appear to make cut Herald Staff Report Three former UND football players have cleared Saturday's deadline where NFL teams must trim their rosters to 53 players.
Offensive lineman Chris Kuper and tight end Chad Mustard appear to have made the final roster for the Denver Broncos.
The Broncos also placed Bismarck native and former University of Minnesota offensive lineman Greg Eslinger on injured reserve.
Tight end Jim Kleinsasser is on the roster for the Minnesota Vikings. Kleinsasser is entering his eighth season with Minnesota.
Kleinsasser is from Carrington, N.D.
Another North Dakotan, Grand Forks' Brooks Bollinger, has made the Vikings cut as a quarterback. Bollinger recently was traded from the New York Jets.
