yes, both pitchers threw the whole game valley had 3 hits and 0 erros while wap had 2 hits and like 4 or 5 errors

Wap had a chance to win it in the bottom of the seventh bases where loaded two outs but zitzow struck him out and that ended the game.... second game rained out

why is beulah class A? if theyre going to be class A at least co-op with somebody other than hazen to put somewhat of a talented team together or drop down to class B

thats funny cuz the way it looks beulah wont even be in a play in game this year they are tied with st marys after beating them today and I dont think bis high stands a chance against them the next time they play

their only wins are against turtle mountain and jamestown, the two teams that dont have any conference wins. turtle mountain shouldnt have baseball and jamestown is in a definite down year compared to years past.[/quote

Well yesterday they beat st. mary's and i think they would do alot better against dickinson and minot if they had the confidence that they do against the average teams..they just dont seem to think they can win those games but the games they think they can win they at least make it close. i think they have a good shot of beating bis high and maybe a couple other upsets.

yea i agree on that..i think if they do just the little things like clean up the throws and even a little bit better baserunning they could be a good team.. they seem like a team that has really good and really bad days.

I see Jamestown beat Minot last Saturday to get a split in the doubleheader. Sounds like there were some fireworks in the game. From the Sun:

Jamestown 4, Minot 3
To say tensions were running high is a bit of an understatement. Two players were tossed, umpires were criticized loudly and fans were letting their displeasure known at high volume in a wacky bottom of the third. By the time it was all said and done, Minot’s Elgie and Jamestown’s Ian Hogan were ejected from the game as the Magicians managed hits on four consecutive at bats, and were helped by an error, but didn’t score any runs as a pair of plays at the plate got Jamestown out of the frame unscathed.

With runners on first and third, Gaunska picked off Elgie at first and Hornecker was cut down at the plate, trying to score from third on a bang-bang sequence. The call was argued by Elgie as he walked from first base to the dugout and the senior was ejected after he was in the dugout. Umpires would also eject Hogan, who was manning first base, as play was suspended for between five and 10 minutes while coaches and umpires sorted out the situation.

After play resumed, it was a game tied 1-1 at that point, JHS would prevent the Minot go-ahead with another play at the plate, as the Jays tip-toed out of danger again.
