She was mad over her girl tripping over her feet on a layup/jump stop and wanted a foul call on the girl that was standing and defending next to her; then got upset over the hip check her girl gave the NC player (Crockett) next time up the floor. You could tell the assistants were trying to settler her down but she stepped away and unto the court on the first call...official looked to tell her to move back on his way by (I think that was the subtle warning).

I've talked to 3 sources that were there and they all felt it was coming with her complaints all game.
You absolutely cannot get a Tech in that moment...no matter if you feel you are right or not; especially when Crockett is the one getting those FTs late...she is not missing those!

That's tough for the team. Based on video I do think it was right call as she was way out of the coaching box. Unfortunate for the team and could very likely cost a trip to the State A next weekend.

First of all .... You are completely right. She did deserve it and it might have cost the Team the game. She messed up big time. Also some of Kindred fans let her know that she messed up. Coaches chewing on Ref's is nothing new and a veteran coach should know how to back off.

Problem is when you only have 7-8 votes there ends up being a lot of people tied with a couple votes each.

And, thinking ahead to Boys Regionals in Mayville, it's going to be very interesting how they handle the crowds. With the girls game probably filling Mayville State to 80% or so, I am fearful of what the boys' tournament will look like. Hoping the NDSHAA considers a move back to the Betty for Region 2 Boys & Girls. Not sure why it left the Betty, but hoping they'll reconsider moving it back in 2024/25 season.

Betty wasn't used because of conflicts surrounding UND; Same reason why Region 1 (A) GBB Title was on Wednesday with NDSU conflicts (and why the EDC Tournament will look weird this year).
