Their 8th grade team went undefeated this year, so there'll be plenty of young talent to choose from on JV and Varsity once again. They have a 5-10 freshman that played some minutes on varsity, as well, but doesn't have much big-game experience.Flying Wallenda wrote:Hinsa wrote:Karleigh Weber, point guard, and Shannon Galegher, 5'9" post, both from Thompson. Both started the entire year, so its not they'll jump into the starting lineup to plug those spots. Weber and Galegher are tough though. Those two along with Ivesdal and Demoe will be their top 4 players. Who'll be the 5th starter/kids off the bench? I was told Thompson had a group of good kids that will be 8th graders next year? I know their JV struggled this year.

Messner - Dakota Prairie
Galegher - Thompson
Sletten - Hatton-Northwood
Taylor Henningsgard - Central Valley
Mack - Cavalier (hadn't seen her play before regionals but was very impressive)
Gaustad - Grafton
There are a few others that are on the threshold (and I may be forgetting one or two), but those six bring a lot of intensity to the court.
