Midkota struggled with PBK, I dont see them beating Ellendale.

As far as personnel-- it appears that Ellendale is a more balanced team over Midkota. In the end, I think that made the difference and Senior leadership plays into that as well.

I wouldn't count out midkota ellendale struggled the first night. Midkota didn't really struggle they led the whole game PBK just found its shooting stroke in the last quarter. It will be a good game tonight between Ellendale and Midkota.

I wouldn't count out midkota ellendale struggled the first night. Midkota didn't really struggle they led the whole game PBK just found its shooting stroke in the last quarter. It will be a good game tonight between Ellendale and Midkota.

As far as finding a "shooting stroke"...credit to PBK for finding opportunities for uncontested shots.

Not sure I would say Ellendale "struggled" the first night as much as I would say LaMoure's defense was more intense and improved from last year. LaMoure worked hard-- and played a tough game. Ellendale's defense just seemed to deny everything they tried to execute. I don't think I have ever seen Ellendale play a zone- so I didn't see that coming.

Midkota has a group of very strong girls & they made a good run in the 4th quarter against Ellendale. I don't think anyone was "counting" them out...as much as giving an educated opinion about a prediction. Midkota is young & they work hard. I look for them having success the rest of this year and the years to come. I pick them over South Border in the 3rd place game. Midkota has the height (especially if they can contend with a quicker SB team).

Looks like the final game is a rematch of last year. Both teams like to push the ball. Looking forward to it!

I was impressed by Midkota as well. They have some good size and are very young so it looks like they will be good for years to come.
