From R2, I would put Grafton above Thompson since they have a common opponent of Cavalier. Grafton beat Cavalier and Thompson lost to them.

My guess is that the voters had the Grafton loss to Carrington fresh in their minds and they didn't look that closely to the comparison in opponents (Cavalier); I'm sure they don't have all the scores handy to them since GBB scores aren't so widely distributed (sadly :( )

Cavalier lost to North Star last night in OT...

NS is a surprise this year...good young talent group of 8th, 9th, & Sophs...will have some growing pains and about a year away to be a serious region title contender...

And Cavalier is actually kind of a surprise to me from Region 2. They are playing a lot better ball this year than I thought they would be, so North Star beating them is a good win.

Washburn is playing pretty good ball, and should jump into the top 10 at #8 next week if all goes well for them. Thompson at #9 and SR at #10. Just a guess....

I think Thompson and Grafton stay in the poll and Standing Rock falls out since they just lost to Dickinson Trinity on Monday. Also look for Dickinson Trinity to possibly move up too

Voters like Standing Rock because they have a huge scorer, and are most likely to make the State tourney because of their region. I think they will hang on for 1 more week!
