Benson County could really be a surprise this year. A lot of young talent on that team (soph and below). Probably a couple years off from contending for a region title, but depending on who's the coach and what style they play they could really be a tough team to beat.

I do agree with the top 4 in your rankings, though. don't know enough about the rest of the teams to rank them.

1. Carington
2. Harvey - wells
3. Langdon Area
4. Four winds - Minn.
5. Midkota
6. Lakota A-E
7. R-W
8. Northstar
9. St. John
10. Benson Co.
11. NR-S
12. Rolla - RL
13. Munich - Stark.

I think that 5-13 can all beat each other, but the top 4 are pretty much fixed in there. I am also going to say that i think St. John will make regionals this year (first time since 1986). District 8 is very wide open after langdon. District 7 will be a good fight between harvey-wc, 4winds, and carrington.

Agreed....I think Midkota can play with the top 4 teams...very athletic girls with some size (Berge, Frappier, Ronningen).

I do believe that st.john has a chance this year, not much competition in their district.
