Well, out of all the picks provided how many have been all state the past 2 years? There is one that has been mentioned much and she is a dominate player for Kenmare and a player that other teams biggest strategy is to try to stop her. Any coach that plays Kenmare know the key to the game is to double and triple team her to try to stop her. She didn't finish her freshman year basketball because a knee injury but has been an all stater ever since. She is a real athlete and in fact she was voted this year Senior Athlete of the year at the State final for Volleyball. Anyone that has seen her play basketball or volleyball would have to agree she is a definite contender for senior athlete of the year for basketball this her senior year as well. She spent her summer on a traveling team with the Northern Lites, where they placed 3rd place in Miss Basketball Tourney. Quite an awesome tourney considering there are over 60 teams from all over the US participating. She topped her summer traveling to Australia for more basket ball against adult women teams and a little fun.
This is her senior year with offers coming in from colleges for a free ride she is weighing her options and remains non committal as of today. I wont mention her name as you all haven't but she will be there at the end and just might take it all.

run4fun2009: theres people that will get her the ball, when Krueger was a senior she had a little sidekick that was fairly good and could get the ball to Montag as well. It'll be fine...

classbkillas, I can see that I'm not blind, but she is more than just a player, she is the total package and a top athlete in the state for any sport she plays as she has proved it with her accomplishments.

She's ok, but not a top senior in the state, and probably not even a top 5 senior in her region in my opinion. Here are some to consider:
Taylor Kraft - Central Cass
Amber Montag - FSHP
Megan Trautman - Enderlin
Moriah Skroch - Wyndmere/Lidgerwood
Paige Tompkins - Milnor
Kenzie Church - FCT
Katie Campbell - FCT

Church was All-State as a Sophomore. Kraft will be All-State again this year, a Miss Basketball candidate - and possibly the winner. Tompkins has an outside shot of being within All-State consideration, too.

I disagree with Megan Trautman being in there. Amber Montag a definite though. Shes played well since her sophmore year.

But how will Montag play without Krueger there this year? But I'll agree with you...I'm not so set on Trautman.

Myself I think she shouldve waited til the end of her senior career before making any decisions, especially with the numbers she's putting up.
