We're not going to keep track of this all season are we? I think it was figured out she has to average 38ppg and her team needs to make it to state. Its not going to happen

I finally had the opportunity to watch Shauna play at the LNI in Rapid City, S.D. I wish some of my boys would play with that mentality. She hit a 35 footer in the semi-finals on Friday and did a sweet behind the back pass that caught the 4,000+ crowd off guard in the championship, which resulted in plenty of "oohs and aahs". This girl is something special. I don't care what people say about boys and girls basketball being different, she can play!

how many games is standing rock playing this year? They have to play their district regular season schedule, their non district schedule which there is a lot of games, two tournaments, one the oregon tournament they play 4 games the other they play 3. doesnt seem to add up. Also you have to get permission from the ndhsaa to participate in tournaments outside of the state.

I'm pretty sure those tournaments count as their nondistrict games.

Is the tournament in Oregon a sanctioned high school tournament, or a private traveling tournament? I noticed that Nike was listed as a tournament sponsor, and was curious if a North Dakota high school team could run a traveling tournament schedule.

Doesnt matter. you can only play 19 regular season games and that is including regular season tournaments. You cant run a seperate schedule such as traveling team. No matter what you do you can only play 19 regular season games.

They have 12 games listed on the ndhsaa page. Add in the 4 LNI games and the 4 games in this Oregon tournament and they have 20. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Schedule could be wrong on the NDHSAA website...I'll check around and get a definitive answer soon

1-Hazen
2-Beach
3-LNI [ Lower Brule ]
4-LNI [ Little Wound ]
5-LNI [ Pine Ridge ]
6-LNI [ C-Eaglebutte ]
7-Nike N7 Tournament
8-Nike N7 Tournament
9-Nike N7 Tournament
10-Nike N7 Tournament
11-Dickinson Trinity
12-Grant County
13-Center-Stanton
14-Civic Center Jamboree [ Linton HMB ]
15-New Salem
16-Solen
17-Flasher
18-Shiloh
19-Napoleon

Well there it is, 19 games, including district games, and non-district games. They cleared off some of the teams they normally play like: Cheyenne-Eaglebutte, McLaughlin, McIntosh. to make way for the Nike N7 Tournament I'm guessing.

Thanks! I think originally it was listed somewhere that SR was playing Four Winds as their last game.

The hoopster and the ndhsaa website show that standing rock plays four winds to end the season. It is listed on the standing rock and the four winds ndhsaa webpages. so that would be 20. Did they get permission from the ndhsaa to attend two 4 game tournaments. It is illligal unless you get permission.
