Kidder County wasn't very aggressive on the final possession, and it cost them. Great game from Shauna Long.

Why are you so bitter? If they were gonna seed the tournament, Beach would play Thompson, Carrington would probably have played Stanley or Kenmare, and Kidder County would have played the other one, Central Cass would have played Standing Rock. So the matchups were fairly close to seeding anyways.

I agree...they were bracketed almost in a seeding style anyways!

I agree with scc...they should seed the state tournament...no way 1 vs. 2 in the state should play each other in the semi-final..its just stupid not to in my opinion...

So #1 and #2 play in the semis big deal, watch the game it might be a good one.

Really the state rankings mean nothing...and we saw that yesterday. Its just a number that is given out by sportscasters and sportswriters.

Totally agree with you. Example. Thompson (regular season 4th place team from district 3, Region 2) just got done taking number #1 Beach to overtime. Region 2 didn't get rated for squat in this years state poll. Region 2 was made up of several very good teams that all beat one another week in and week out. So, no 18-0 or 17-1 records and no state rankings. Just a lot of darn good basketball teams. Seeding would be a waste of time.
