No you have it wrong...cause if OG were to beat Enderlin and then lose to CC than they would be cross-bracketed to the bottom half of the losing bracket.
Here is an example from last year's district tourney (this should clear this up): http://www.wyndmere.k12.nd.us/Web/html/ ... 202009.pdf

Thielges foul, could have and probably should have been an intentional foul. The 3 man referee crew was out of sync and place most of the night. Poorly officiated both ways. Enderlin hits a bomb 3 (5 feet behind 3pt line) to pull one out of their yo know whats.

The first game against Maple Valley was just bad. They lost Smith during the season and the rest of the players are not scorers. Especially against an awesome CC team. Enderlin at least has people who put the ball through the hoop on a somewhat regular basis. Not trying to talk crap about MV but they dont have much.

No Maple Valley is just too young...they even struggled against Oak Grove today scoring only 17 points (2 in the first quarter).

I picked FSHP to win District 2, but I am somewhat surprised it came through. Any insights on the game? My guess is that they kept Kraft out of the paint.

Kraft struggled in the first half but came on in the 4th quarter. FSHP was just hitting there shots for the first three quarters and then hit a "buzz-saw" in the 4th where they were held to 4 points because of poor shot selection and poor FT shooting. Montag hits game-winning FTs with 4 seconds left on the clock. Kraft nearly hits half-court shot at buzzer...just off the rim. It was a great game...ALL 3 games yesterday were close, intense games...probably the best final day of District 2 basketball that I have seen.
Enderlin was down 38-28 with about 2 minutes to go and comes back to win. Richland had a chance to tie it from the FT line with no time on the clock, but the first FT rattled in and out.
Oak Grove's Mikayla Forness came out firing on all cylinders hitting her first 4 shots and scoring 9 of the team's 11 points early. Oak Grove was able to hit enough shots down the stretch and hit enough FTs to pull out the win. It will be their first Region qualification since 2004.
