Kenmare vs Carrington

Has anyone seen both teams play and what are your thoughts? This is a weather related makeup game for both teams and will played next Saturday in MInot.

Close game all the way. Kenmare was ahead at half time and it was 2 point game with 3:07 left in the fourth quarter and then Kenmare made 4 consecutive mistakes bringing the ball up the court and Carrington capitalized and then Kenmare had to foul to try and get back into the game. If they play again, it will be another good game if Kenmare can handle the ball better.

Two days earlier Bottineau beat Kenmare by 13. Bottineau led most of the game. Carrington is ranked #2. Bottineau has been unranked all season. Just an observation.

I agree, comparing scores it not reliable. However Bottineau does seem to be hitting it's stride at the right time. Recently got their second most experienced player back for the first time this year after ACL surgery.
Kelsey Artz was first off the bench last year and is now back on the floor. Gotta be a good thing for the Stars.
Not may teams would call 16-4 a down year.

So much for Bottineau hitting their stride. Rugby 54-Bottineau 48 in 2 OT. Any Bottineau or Rugby people out there know the last time Rugby beat Bottineau in GBB. I seriously think it might be as many as 15 years.

Could be an interesting Region 6. Kenmare beat Mohall by 30 last night and Bottineau getting beat will surely make interesting pairings in the Region 6

Last time Rugby girls got a win over the Bottineau girls - I believe it was Jan. of 2003 - before that, probably the district tournament in the fall of 2000. Not sure on those dates, but I think they are accurate.

I stand corrected. I don't recall those games but that doesn't mean anything. I do recall Bottineau kind of struggling in 2000 after they won state in 1999.
