I don't think Kidder County is the 4th best team in the state. They deserve to be in the top 10, but I would put them around 7 or 8, not 4th. They are not the same team as last year, athletically or in the coaching department. They also don't have the bench that they had last year. (IMO) IF, when, they beat Linton this year I will become much more of a believer.

Linton will beat Kidder by 3pts the first time. I can't believe Linton isn't getting votes.

I believe that Linton will beat KC this year too. I think KC will get outcoached and the Lady Lions have too much depth and athleticism for KC this year.

Hmm, I have seen both Linton and Kidder County play each a few times this year and agree that Kidder County is a little over rated. With that being said I dont believe Linton is under rated. It was stated above that KC doesnt have the bench they had last year when they have the exact girls on the bench as last year. So thats not the problem! In fact last year their 6th man got very sick in the beginning of the year and sat the whole year which was to bad. Shes back now and has added some depth and i believe there is a freshman from Tappen that is pretty good also. Linton will always have a bench because they have alot of kids, but i do believe Kc will be outcoached. Gotta give Flyberg props here. I dont think one team is alot better player wise, I might have to give KC a slight edge there(Eli Benz) but I also believe this isnt a given to any team in this region

I would have to say I am not nearly impressed with KC as I was last year. They still appear to be adjusting to life with the sand's. I question what they are doing on offense, in particular against man to man defense. Eli Benz spends much of her time 20 ft away from the basket. It also appears they don't play with the same discipline, meaning fundamentals appear to be slipping. They still have an aggressive press. I guess we will have to see. Should be a fun game.

dang how about region 7. They have 4 teams in the top 10. It should be a great tourney, but beach has to still be the heavy favorite.

How about the Westhope-Newburg girls? They have knocked off Rolla-Rock Lake and Kenmere. Might make the state tournament this year. I believe last season they took a 2nd place finish in the Regional Tournament.....

I think W-N will likely be getting votes soon... Wins over two teams in the top 10 makes you definitely worthy of a state ranking...

I'm sure they will. It all comes down to tournament time and who shows up anyways. Oh and this is your brother toddjames. Thought I'd throw that out there.
