Anyone else hear the rumor that Washburn's coach is applying for the Mandan head coaching job?

I wouldn't be surprised. He has definitely proven his ability. But, no haven't heard. Some big shoes fill, but as Amundson has said, the cupboard isn't bare by no means.

Hard to tell if he could handle it because he always quits when the talent is gone so somebody else coaches when the talent is down and takes the losses.

did he quit because the girls coming up didn't want to do the summer travel stuff etc...the stuff that gets you to the top? Now the girls want to to do those things again so they got him to come back? That's what I heard. Heard the girls after dockters group didn't want to travel and weren't really into doing the things that made washburn the powerhouse they were. Now, the girls wanted to be winners and wanted to commit to doing things to get back to the top.
