It is the same as college football. It is what have you done for me lately. I cannot believe how many people actually care about polls. I know for a fact coaches couldn't give a rip.

Whoever votes is dumb. Hankinson is still in there and so is Central Cass over Underwood and Linton? they're both having a good season of only one loss. the other have to.. 13-1 and 10-1

Then the question is why are there more teams from the east receiving votes? There are viable teams from the west that should be ranked, in my opinion, but eastern teams are getting those spots. If you can answer that one for me, I would love to know.

Viable teams like who? The same people who vote on the Class B polls also vote on the Class A polls, which the West has dominated for most of this year. I know its fun to dream up why your team isn't getting respect, but the truth is media people really don't care all that much about a specific team getting votes. You think it really bugs people at the Forum that Hankinson isn't as high on the list as Carrington? I'd be willing to bet they sleep fine at night.
But then again, the polls are here for people to complain about. More than anything, they're a measuring stick for players and fans and as I read earlier, MOST coaches could care less about them.

Central Cass and Hankinson lost only to teams ranked above them (Hankinson and FCT for CC and FCT for Hankinson, Minnetonka just doesn't count IMHO)....The NDHSAA site has Linton down for three losses before this poll, and Underwood's loss was to Washburn, who is 10-4, according to the NDHSAA, which admittedly, does not list all the results.
And I agree with previous posters....being ranked is not necessarily positive....it is like running up and down the court with a target on the back of your jerseys!

They have one of the scariest players in the region in shelby krueger, they can go 8 deep and not miss a beat. Very Very scary team...IF everything works out the way it should, could be a great final 2 nights of basketball in the Region One Tournament.
