How is New England still receiving votes? Two straight losses, one to Bowman and the other to Beach. They're probably not even rated very high in their own District!

And last week Central Cass beat FSHP by 9. Maybe they will be falling out of the poll soon...

Think NR-S will move down any or KC will move up on the next poll?

I could see Kidder County maybe leapfrogging Carrington to at least #5 (although Carrington could go up too.) NR-S will drop for sure, but I don't think they should drop down any lower than about #7 or so. Just my opinion; we'll see how the voters play things out next week.

wow, how has mpcg's program gone downhill so fast? With a school that size there has to be some talent somewhere.

Yeah there is, to bad it is all in junior high.

Underwood went to 13-1 last night with a win over Grant County - anyone think they might break into the poll this coming week?

Oh yeah, I forgot that Underwood has played some good ball. Guess haven't heard or considered underwood a threat for about 10 years now, so sorry about forgetting you. Though, I don't believe they have played anyone that would show how good they are. HMB was ranked, but we all know where they are now. The area is just so weak in girls now. Have they played Standing Rock yet? If not when? I would be very interested in the outcome of this game. If kidder county is ranked 9, then absolutely no way should Underwood be even a consideration for a vote. Standing Rock should get a vote before Underwood.

Can't argue too hard on strength of schedule - we haven't played anyone tough (HMB and Velva were the two most competitive teams) this year and won't have the chance to face Standing Rock until regionals.

There isnt much difference between the better teams in Region 5. Underwood, Standing Rock, Washburn, Grant County etc. There isnt 5 points seperating any of them. I do agree that Underwood should be recieving some votes. They are 13-1 and deserve some recognition. There are teams getting votes and ranked they would beat. But its just a poll and the people voting have no idea who is good. Has anyone watched every team in the state? Has anyone even watched every team in Region 5. So we dont know, really.

Underwood has a nice team, but I don't think they could beat anyone of those ranked teams.

I would think they could compete agains new england, linton, fordville, etc. I am not saying underwood or any of the teams could beat bottineau but some of the ranked teams and teams getting votes arent as good as you think.

Obviously you are a fan from underwood , coming out with way to much confidence. What hard teams have you even played? HMB hasn't been ranked sense week 2 because they're not great and Velva? Nobody even talks about them, TLM from your district beat them by 15. Mr. Jacobson has come out of retirement and done a lot for those Washburn girls bringing out a lot of talent, I see it especially in that Schell and Ankenbauer sophomores. You two I have seen as big rivals, Underwood only beating them by 2 in 2OT, and when you lose to Washburn it's excuses you come up with, they stayed with you in 2OT but sounds like there were no foul trouble or injuries there, take the loss you're given. Heard Washburn also had a good game against Hazen, were ahead but lost by 3, closest game Hazen has had yet this season, but also agree could play stronger teams, but definately state ranked. Washburn also held KC to 15 in the first half, which no team has done. TL has also done fairly well. So there is pretty good competition in your district. But don't come out with this over confidence. That's annoying when someone writes so much about there own team.
