yeah, they should be pretty good.. returning all their players if i'm correct? but i wouldn't completely forget about the other District 5 teams..

LaMoure- should do better than people expect. i think they have a lot of younger talent that people don't know about.

PBK- they got a group of girls who've been playing together for quite sometime and their wanting to win just as much as any.

BCN- they have a pretty promising ball club that should get better every game as the year progresses. new coach, new game, new year. don't forget about them just yet.

LaMoure got destroyed by Napoleon though...so if LaMoure will be at the top of the District then something is going to have to change soon!

I don't think Napoleon is all that good either. I thought they were picked like 6th in district 6 in the hoopster.

napoleon is very young, they dont have a senior, 1 junior, 5 soph, but 1 is out for the year with an injury, 2 fresh, and 3 8th graders. 1 8th grader starts and the other 2 play alot. they will only get better as the year goes along, but they are in a very good district and will have to play good just to make it to regionals.
ps. they beat new salem 47-45 in the new salem tourney tonight and will more than likely play hmb on thursday

LMM better not think they'll walk all over everyone because they'll probably get a rude awakening. Plus, Districts are a ways away.. its only the second week of the season.. things DO change. Chill...I was only stating about LaMoure's first game...I also know that L-M-M won't walk through any team from this district, let alone the Region because of how they looked in their first game against FSHP! I understand that it is early in the season!!!

Yes, stoax whatever, you made it sound like someone said Lamoure would be at the top of the district. Who said that???!!! All anyone is saying when they say they might be better than predicted is that they will be better than 7 out of 7 which is what everyone predicted. No one said "top of the district". They will get better though. It's always a challenge when a team has to redefine itself after having one or two people run everything for a couple of years and no one under them was really developed.

LaMoure has two new coaches as well. Napoleon showed them that they need to work on the fundamentals - passing, catching, dribbling, etc. This team does have some talent. But they are short and lack experience. I believe that they will be a much different team by the end of the year.

thank you luckyinlife. i'm sorry but i just hate that people assume that LMM will automatically be top dog. most teams improve by the end of the season and as far as i've always believed.. the season doesn't really start until the District tourney begins..

in each group, each team has beaten each other

cp, edgeley, & lamoure only have 1 district win: cp beat lam, edge beat cp, and lam beat edg
