I saw afew games in Wilton last nite and was impressed with Washburn. The girls beat a determined Max team. Washburn is very quick and athletic and hustled the whole game. They'll be in the hunt for regional hardware at the end of the season.

Washburn and Underwood will meet for the championship tonight.
Our Redeemers and Turtle Lake-Mercer for 3rd/4th
Wilton and Garrison for consolation championship.
White Shield and Max for 7th/8th.

Underwood defeated Washburn in the champ. game by two in 2OT. Great game. I think the Washburn girls are going to surprise some people. Samantha Schell is a nice player who Avg. over twenty for the tourney and she's only a Soph. This is going to be a tightly contested Distr. between four or five teams. Should be some great games throughout the regular season.

P.S. Max's Christina Jacobson canned five treys in the 7/8 place game.
