Im picking Dp because they have very good speed and has a very good point guard. Maddi Lamb total stud knows the game and is really fast. Is a very good shooter and is a clutch player when it comes to a close game!!

Has developed her Left hand dribbling skills during the off season...she stuggled. If teams identify her weakness that could be a difference maker of how well she can lead the team!

CV has a chance to do good in the district this year. They were able to competer with every team except Dp. Jessica Henningsgard is very good guard and she drives really drives the success of the team. When she does good they do good and when she does bad they do bad. Coach Sondrol needs to move her to shooting guard to get her more chances to score and they would be much better.

Jessica Henninsgard is a very good player, especially for only being a sophomore. Visby and Schultz are seniors this year and both good players. CV should go further than they have in the last few years. Taylor Henningsgard will get more playing time this year too...I think she's in 8th grade now?

I think Hillsboro's going to end up being at the top spot of the district like the Hoopster predicted. It will be close though, between them and DP.

I think seven of the eight teams in the district have a legitimate chance at going to regionals. I am surprised no one has mentioned Larimore. Molina, Pearce, and Russell gives excellent mentor Leon Carey a good core of girls. I think Thompson and GCC are both young teams to watch. MPCG is just a year or two away. It sounds like the coaching staff is doing a nice job, I just think there too young to make a run.

Looking at last nights box scores, teams are definately going to have to show Larimore some respect. 53-34 over Dakota Prairie, any comments from anyone who was there?

DP's shooting percent was, I believe, somewhere in the 20's. Larimore shot very well. DP looked wore out- with their 4th game in five days. The first one was a very competitive one with Carrington.

Hillsboro over Hatton-Northwood
55-53
After a H-N turnover, Hillsboro inbounded it to Maggie Evenson with 5.5 left and she drove to the lane and made a last second bank shot.

I see Hillsboro and Larimore match up tonight, anyone have any thoughts on the game. I think Hillsboro is going to have there hands full with Russell, pierce, and molina playing well this year. I see larimore beat a decent Hatton Northwood team last night by a decent margin.

Hillsboro appears to be the front runner in this district. I had my doubts that they would be able to handle Larimore, but Doeden and Russell appeared to have cancelled each other out, and the Evensons take over. Also a little suprised that Thompson lost to Dakota Prairie, I see in the box scores that DP but up a big first quarter. Anyone at the game that would like to give their opinion?

Other than the one and eight pairing, I won't be surprised whoever wins in the first round. Central Valley is a scary 7 seed and the 6 seed will also be capable of scoring an upset or two.

not to ruffle to many feathers but Larimore should have fed russel the basketball in the tourny. they would have gone farther.
