Any comments and rankings from this region??

Central Cass should do well. We are long overdue (I think the only state appearance was in the 70's??). We surprised everyone by taking 2nd place at regionals last year (I think we were ranked 5th in the district at the beginning of the year) and our only big loss was Taija Samuelson (April Ausk graduated too but she was not a starter). Coming back are Taylor Kraft, Abby Sprunk, Terese Boeder, Kayla Nelson, Ashleigh Nesemeier & Madison Gegelman, plus a few younger girls that should see some playing time. Good luck girls!

I'll have to agree...I would pick Central Cass to probably win the region; but Hankinson will still be a tough team in the region!!

I think Hankinson (if they avoid drama) will be strong out of District 1, and my pick for District 2 is Richland. Also, look for Smith from Maple Valley to be one of the top players in Region 1. Central Cass will be in the mix, but I think Richland's inside game is strong and faster than Central Cass'.

In District 2, along with Central Cass and Richland, look for Hope-Page-Finley-Sharon to be in the running as well. With Shelby Krueger leading their team they have the speed,strength and size to match up well with just about anybody in the Region. They play good defense and rebound well. They are one of several teams that I think will be in the running for the Region 1 title come next Feb.

How about northern cass? Aren't they returning everyone but Kali Fenske...or am I missing some other major contributors?
