Bottineau had four seniors on the team. Roemmich would have been a sho in had she not been hurt but unfortunately that's not the case. Becky Olson played off the bench, Marquardt was a part-time starter. Marybeth Geiszler would probably have been the strongest candidate of these four (considering Roemmichs knee) but then again maybe not quite a Lions All-Star caliber bb player. Not sure but she may be playing on the volleyball all-star team. No shortage of athletic ability on her part. She's also the defending state champ in pole vault.
