Bowman got fourth last year and they lost NOT ONE PERSON THAT GOT VARSITY PLAYING TIME...haven't lost to an ND team and they just happened to have their worst shooting night ever against Harding Co.

I am curious as to why so many are picking Bowman over Bottineau if they in fact do both make it to the championship. I'm not that familiar with Bowman so I checked all the games they have played and most of the teams they have played have just mediocre records. Here is a list of some of the teams Bottineau has played and beat and their records: Grafton(22-2), Newtown(20-3), Velva(20-5)(3 of Velva's 5 losses were to Bottineau), DesLacs\ Burlington(19-6),Kenmare(17-4) Trinity(18-6),Langdon(18-8), MinotRyan (17-8). Of course anyone can win on any given night, but it seems to me the odds would go to Bottineau.

I got Bottineau, Bowman, Hankinson, Lakota, HMB, FLPR, New Town and Shiloh in that order.

1. Bottineau
2. FLPR
3. Bowman
4. HMB
5. Shiloh
6. New Town
7. Hankinson
8. Lakota

I think FLPR has enough talent to make it to the championship. They came out of a very tough region and beat Grafton to make it to State. They will be able to make it to the ship but I dont know if they have enough to beat Bottineau.

There was an article in today's Fargo Forum about the starting lineup's, their ppg and rpg averages along with their top bench player(s).

If BC plays like they played in the regional championship game, they will give bottineau a run for the title. If they played like they did in the semi's (against Beach) they will be in the day bracket on Fri. and Sat.

Pretty good game for the opening one of the day. Gotta love it when both teams come out and start hitting shots. Nothing worse than watching teams come out cold to start the game.

Lakota had their chances at the end to at least tie, and even make a couple free throws to make it interesting the way HMB was shooting free throws. Good first game.

How many titles have they won?
2004 -2005 they debuted #1 and stayed there, and again in 2005-2006, and again in 2007-2008.
Great first 12 minutes by SC - then the mis-step
FLPR will not be in the finals
IMO

The Botno girls have won 3 titles. 1999, 2006, 2007
2004 was Larimore and 2005 was Langdon.
