Langdon, RW, ML, Rolla in the opening round

Langdon, ML in the semis and SM and NS in the loser out

Rolla over SM, RW over NS, ML over Langdon for the title.

I will take Langdon, MS, ML, and NS in the 1st round. Langdon and ML in the semis, RW and Rolla in the loser out. NS and Rolla in the loser out, ML for the title. All in all, this braket actually should make MS happy. They get a team they played close both times in the first round and then could face Langdon, who they only lost to by 2. They have a decent path to the title game for a 5 seed. I don't think it will happen but it isn't out of the realm.

im thinking since you are a lions fan that you are from leeds...so that prob why you have to push for ml...but the outcome for district 8 will be LANGDON on top and ml for 2nd!! sorry but thats how and I WILL be seeing it on Saturday!

For ML to win, they have to get back on track with their offense. They need to get back to shooting %40 or better. When they fail to do this, they struggle. They can get sloppy with the ball, but that could change now that more is at stake. As well as all the other teams who could show up for the district tourney playing their best ball.

I think ML will take this. I haven't seen them play since Dec. but I am planning on going to some of the games so hopefully I will see them play at least 1. I just don't see how ML will lose. I know they lost a couple down the stretch but I don't think Langdon will pull it off.

I'm thinking that since you're a langdon fan that you're probably pushing for YOUR team. I think it will be a very good game for the championship game, but i think ML will come out on top.

I think there is a good argument either way between Langdon and ML. Langdon handled them easily in the regular season by holding Grann down. They have some good defenders that are capable of doing that again. If Grann plays well I think ML wins.

Did St John have the entire team last night? I've seen them play 4 times this year and tho I'd never think they'd beat Langdon, I didn't ever see them scoring only 14 and losing by 80.

Heard that they have moved the games up because of the weather coming in. Anybody know the schedule.

I heard MS plays at 4:30, which would be the 1st semi. I would assume the games start around 1-1:30.

The 3 games today have been postponed until Monday. Hopefully they have a good reason because the weather, while cold, looks decent to me. We have people playing hockey in Minnesota outside in 30 below windchill and other districts playing today, but not this one. Its a joke.

Well I screwed up my first round predictions, but I had all the games predicted right last night and the same 4 teams in the region.

Congratulations to Brittany Wirth as senior athlete. Well deserved.
I heard she is going to play for Lake Region next year?

Yeah, shes very deserving. I saw her play 3 times this year and I never really got to see her get the ball in the post. Shes a big girl and when she got it down low she scored or got to the line almost every time. Too bad for her, I think MS could have gone farther if she would have gotten more touches down low.

It will be interesting to see her play with other players that can actually play. SM was a team full of guards but very few of them could actually do anything. Its hard to get the ball to the center if you can't get it across the half line. LR should have players that can get her the ball.
