Well, FCT, Northern Cass and Hankinson are all in the same region so only one (if one) of them will be there. Of course, there is still a chance that Central Cass could make it out of Region 1. :D They've beaten Northern Cass once and Hankinson once.

ML, Carrington, and NRS are all in the same region, too. Langdon, Rolette, Lakota, Harvey, and Maddock could all make runs at tourney time, too. Region 4 is going to be a great tourney!

Appears Region 1 may be weak this year - with their top ranked team (who also appears in the polls) Northern Cass having been beaten by two District 3 teams (Hillsboro and Thompson, Region 2). Luckily, one team from Region 1 will get to represent for the Big Show!
Look for the upset in Region 2 - its almost time!! Enjoy

I'd say top 4 teams are state tournament bound, after that I got no clue.

I'd have to disagree with you about Region 1 being weak this year. Northern Cass was apparently missing one of their star players (Fenske) when they lost to Thompson by 2 last night. (I wasn't there, but she wasn't in the box score so I assume she didn't play.) Also, Central Cass got beat by Hillsboro early in the year while missing three of their players (Samuelson, Ausk and Nelson). FCT and Hankinson are really tough teams as well. Good luck in your region and we'll see you at state!

I agree with ClassB...using that logic, we can really discredit pretty much any team with a loss across the state. Didn't Thompson lose to MPCG and MPCG is about as weak as I've seen this year.

I've got #2-7 making it to state from their regions. Botno gets upset by Kenmare in the region champ, ML will avenge their losses to Langdon and Carrington in the region to make it two straight to state, SD avenges their only loss to HMB, Bowman FCT and Grafton make it through their regions getting challenged but still survive. I'll take TLM over Shiloh in region 5 (both Trojans teams make state this year) and I'll take Newtown over WC in region 8. This are just predictions and wishes...not 100% on all these teams.

Like I said, just wishes on some of them. I'd just like to see a new champion this year and if Botno makes it to state I think they win it all.

May I ask who gives Grafton that challenge? I'd be surprised if anybody stays within ten points of them come regionals.

I agree with Grafton. They have been crushing their opponents. If they don't make it out of the region, that will be a major meltdown. Also district 3 is not even close to the quality they were last year.

I think Grafton could be challenged by PRFL or DP. I think they will still win and make it to state, but they will have at least one close game in the region

Why does HMB's record say 15-3, they are 17-2. Not that it matters anymore because they are 0-0 in the postseason going up against Linton tonight in the District tourney.

Velva only lost to Bottineau by 3 in the district 12 championship game and they stayed with them during their first meeting in the season.......they could possibly upset the number 1 team in the state during the region 6 tourney.....
