I have not seen them play yet this year in person but the few times i seen them play last year and the previous couple of years, he kept the press on the whole game except for the last couple of minutes when they were ahead by a lot of points.

most games he does keep the press on longer, but when he knows there is no match like against Kulm and Ashley in previous years. i watched them play Ashley the last 2 years and he didnt even put the press on once unless it was the district tourney for a few possesions to get the girls a few reps with it against another team

Did anyone catch a score on the Oak Grove vs FSHP game? It wasn't on the news. I see CC defeated MV by one. CC is really coming along......good luck to them....

Oak Grove lost 60 to 77. I was at the game - it was the same story for them. No rebounding and a ton of turnovers. They are hoping to get their point guard back on Jan. 8th. She has been out with a torn ACL. They are also just getting Mariah Nelson back - she started for them last year. She has been unable to play since last Feb. They also are trying to get use to a new coach after their coach died last Feb. They have had a lot of struggles to overcome but if eveything falls in place for them could be a decent team by the end of the year.

Grafton win big again tonight. North Border was without Brandi Lorz and Hailey Longtin hasn't come back from her injury yet. I believe the final score was around 85-34. Grafton played very well defensively and did a good job of getting the ball inside for easy hoops. I would say Grafton and Dakota Prairie are the two front runners to play for the Region II championship as of right now. However FLPR and Hatton Northwood are two very good teams that could give them a run. I know Hatton-Northwood lost big to Dakota Prairie but this early in the year there are a lot of things to improve on and by tournament time I wouldn't doubt if it's any one of these four teams playing at state.

Steele beat South Border 88-21 tonight. and this game can back up my statement that Sand doesnt keep the press on or the starters in to get these huge wins. the press was off 4 minutes into the game and the staters played maybe 2 minutes in the 3rd before sitting the rest of the game

Kindred's actually 5-5 now. Either way, Mandi Bindas went down with an injury in the first quarter of the game.

Does anyone know what type of injury Mandi sustained and how serious it was?

I got the answer to my own question. Mandi suffered a knee injury in the Richland game. Her knee is swollen and she is on crutches. She is going in to have it checked today. My guess is they will have to schedule an MRI. Let hope and pray that it is not a season ending injury.

Here's the boxscore
DAKOTA PRAIRIE 37

Dakota Prairie 8 8 10 11 37
May-Port-C-G 8 13 4 9 34
Dakota PrairieKelly Dahl 1, Maddi Lamb 2, Brandy Messner 5, Sabrina Rude 14, Meaghan Tweed 5, Jenna Gillett 10 - Mayville-Portland-C-G
Heather Aune 7, Joni Kyllo 2, Jenaye Ingebretson 14, Chelsey Amb 11

I also saw Langdon beat Rolette-Wolford handily, they must be playing very well right now. Any comments on that game from anyone?

Anyone got a score/box score on Moorhead Park Christian vs. Hillsboro Saturday night? I know Hillsboro won, but no score in the paper or online.

Hillsboro will be just fine without another appearance in the polls. Great they were in there earlier this year, time to play ball and ignore the online stuff. Yeah, right
