Grafton lost to Bottineau tonight by 12. I think the score was 55-43.

Yeah, I can't say I was surprised that Hankinson beat Kindred---but it really is a big win for alot of reasons. Looks to me like Region 1 will be more of a dogfight than most even imagined--Central Cass beat Northern Cass, Hankinson beating Kindred, and FCT all in the mix. It will be interesting!

And Central Cass beat Northern Cass without 3 of their starters (ineligible), so look for them to play well when everyone is back this week.

FCT won. 45 to 35. It was close match thru the 1st half with Lidgerwood leading by 1 at the half. 3rd qtr turnovers made the difference in the game. This game could easity have gone in favor of Lidgerwood. Tournament time will be very interesting.

Bowman beat Killdeer tonight to remain undefeated, 50-31....didn't really fire on all cylinders either, kind of a sloppy game by both teams.

Yeah when you have Baldwin, Houdek, and Adamsen in there to start the 4th qtr. I thought it was kinda a classless move in my mind by the coach but thats just me. I haven't seen box score yet but I'd bet baldwin had more points then cavalier combined. Just hope she don't pull that anymore cause i'd hate to see them lose somebody to injury when up by 60 points.

look at the box score of the Steele-Kulm game, Steele scored 9 points in the forth quarter. I know Sand pretty well and he will play his girls until atleast halftime and then start the 3rd to play maybe 2-3 minutes then sit them the finals 13-14 of the game. they had 61 at halftime, i dont consider it running up the score when you play hard til halftime, but if they kept pressing then i would wonder. but knowing sand he probably pressed the first few minutes and i doubt he did at all after the first quarter and probably pulled it before then. you have to remember that teams like Kulm are just that bad and its not the fault of a good team that is that much more talented...

Baseball, are you kidding me i have seen steele play numerous times over the years, as i live in the district 6 area, and it seems to me that Sand likes to keep the press on for the majority of the game. I have not seen them play yet this year in person but the few times i seen them play last year and the previous couple of years, he kept the press on the whole game except for the last couple of minutes when they were ahead by a lot of points.
